  • In January 2008, Music China has been recognized for excellence as the top 15 exhibitions in Shanghai and was awarded the title of “Shanghai Top International Brand Fair”. The judging panel was made up of representatives from the Shanghai Foreign Economic Relation & Trade Commission, the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Industries Association, and the Shanghai Government.
  • Back in 2006, Music China was also selected as the one of the top 10 brand exhibitions of China Light Industry.

  • In October 2004, Music China and Prolight+Sound Shanghai moved to Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong for the first time, with a floor space of 38000m2, which has established Music China as the largest music instrument show in Asia and 3the third largest MI show in the world after Musik Messe Germany and NAMM of USA.
  • In July 2004, Mr. Zhou Titong, vice mayor of Shanghai and Mr. Cai Junyong, deputy secretary general of Shanghai municipal government attended the opening ceremony of the third China Aid. Mr. Liu Yungeng, deputy Party secretary of Shanghai municipal communist Party committee also paid a visit to the show.
  • In January 2004, Interexpo China returned to Shanghai , its birthplace after a tour of Beijing , Guangzhou and Wuhan . Mr. Jiang Sixian, vice mayor of Shanghai and head of Pudong New Area, and Mr. Zhang Wei, vice chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade attended the Pudong Summit and delivered key note speeches.
  • In 2003, Music China and ProLight+Sound Shanghai began their formal association with China Shanghai International Art Festival, which has achieved good synergy of the two events.
  • In 2003, Hortiflorexpo China Mr, Chen kuiyuan, deputy chairman of CPPCC, Ms. Jiang Zehui, president of China Flower Association and Mr. Zhou Yupeng, vice mayor of Shanghai attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for the exhibition.
  • In 2002, Music China was successfully launched with a floor space of 15000m2, which instantly became the largest show that INTEX has ever organized. This won INTEX sound praises from the industry.
  • In 2002, Mr. Feng Guoqin, the then standing committee member of the Shanghai municipal Party committee and the deputy mayor of Shanghai attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd China Aid and cut the ribbon for the exhibition.
  • In 2001, Mr. Wu Zhiming, director general of Shanghai Public Security Bureau attended the opening ceremony of the 3rd China Police & Securex and cut the ribbon for the exhibition.
  • In 2001, Ms. Jiang Zehui, president of China Flower Association, Mr. Jiang Yiren, the then deputy mayor of Shanghai , and Mr. Zhu Xiaoming, deputy secretary of Shanghai municipal government attended the opening ceremony and reception banquet of the 4th Hortiflorexpo China .
  • In 2000, Deng pufang, the then chairman of China Disabled Persons Federation, Jiang Yiren, the standing committee member of municipal Party committee and deputy mayor of Shanghai, Zuo Huanchen and Feng Guoqin, deputy mayors of Shanghai, and Zhou Taitong, deputy secretary of municipal government of Shanghai and other officials attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for the first China Aid exhibition.
