With 6,000 available positions provided, the 1st Job Recruitment Fair in 2010 attracted 18,000 graduates.
January 9, the city's first job recruitment fair for graduates was held in INTEX SHANGHAI. 464 enterprises provided nearly 6,000 job opportunities, which had attracted the participation of 18,000 graduates. Many of the positions brought by enterprises covered high-tech industries, advanced manufacturing and modern service industries. As a matter of fact, the graduateds were more interested in positions with speciality requirements.
Students had been waiting for opening since 7:00 that morning. With the purpose of making the participated enterprises public, the organizer set up a large notice board with all the enterprises information in front of the entrance of INTEX SHANGHAI; And many people stopped and search for relevant industrial information.
The fair was organized by Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Shanghai Education Committee, undertaken by Shanghai Talent Service Center and Shanghai College Graduates Employment Guidance Center. Mr. Shen Xiaoming, the Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, also came to the fair.
